Acts 1:8 Missions
And you shall receive power when the Holy Sprit shall come upon you,
and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all
Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest parts of the earth (Acts 1:8)!
Missions is not just something we do; it is who we are! As believers in
Jesus Christ, we have the mandate to be ambassadors for Him, going across the
street and around the world telling others about His love and forgiveness. We take that
responsibility seriously here at Calvary, as we seek to be On Mission for Him in all
that we do.
“And when Paul and Barnabas had arrived and gathered the church together,
they began to report all things that God had done with them [on their journey]
and how He had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles (Acts 14:27)!
